Für die Streaming-Box NVIDIA Shield TV steht ab sofort ein neues SHIELD Experience Upgrade auf die Version 8.0.2 zum Download bereit. Konkret kann das Update, mit dem zahlreiche Verbesserungen vorgenommen werden, für die Boxen (inkl. Pro-Modellen) aus den Jahren 2015 und 2017 installiert werden. Für die aktuellste Generation ist das Update nicht gedacht, diese laufen bereits mit der Version 8.1.0.
Das Update müsste euch beim Start eurer Streaming-Box automatisch zum Download angeboten werden. Alternativ könnt ihr über die Einstellungen -> Geräteeinstellungen -> Info -> Systemupgrade manuell danach suchen.

- Resolves issue where „Match Color Space“ was not working properly on some TVs.
- Fixes bug where screensaver would not be displayed in Neftlix.
- Resolves issue where pre-installed apps would disappear.
- Fixes stability issues when connecting to SHIELD from PC over network. Resolves issue where SHIELD LED doesn’t pulse after voice command, after enabling that setting.
